1. 18 October 2026
## [Proxy Mail QA for Chrome 0.6.2](https://proxymail.qa/changelog#2026-10-18)

  - Proxy Mail QA for Chrome 0.6.2
### [Chrome extension](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/extension)

  - ImprovedLinks that open a mobile app (`myapp://`, `exp://`) can be copied from the page card and the popup, to open on a phone, simulator or emulator, instead of opening a browser tab that can't use them.
  - ImprovedThe fill card says when it will make up a date of birth for the form.
2. 17 October 2026
## [Runs, email checks and a Reports dashboard](https://proxymail.qa/changelog#2026-10-17)
Every CI job or agent session can leave a report of its emails on the pull request, each email gets checked when it arrives, a new dashboard shows what needs attention, tests can borrow accounts already in the state they need, and each report says what changed since the last run.

  - proxymail-qa 0.8.1
  - Proxy Mail QA GitHub Action 1.0.0
  - Claude, Cursor and Qoder plugin 1.3.0
### [App](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/app)

  - NewReports, in the project menu: a Dashboard with what needs attention (failed email checks, refused mail, failed runs), what changed since the period before (a new sender, provider or From address, a code where there was a link, links to a different site), how fast emails arrive, and what happened to codes and links. The QA report is the second tab.
  - NewRuns, in the project menu, list CI jobs and agent sessions with everything their emails did.
  - NewA code or link shows when it was used and by whom (opened or copied in the app, or fetched by an agent), and an older one shows when a newer email replaced it. Both stay usable.
  - NewAccounts a test has checked out of the pool show “In use until 13:39”, with Free to let another test have it now.
  - ImprovedThe activity log says how each action came in (the app, the Chrome extension, an agent or an API key) and can be filtered by it. It also notes when someone opens or copies a code or link.
  - ImprovedThe app shows its layout straight away while it loads, instead of a blank page.
  - FixedActivation codes are found after the word “Activation”, in lower or mixed case, and in the subject, instead of the subject line being taken as the code.
  - NewAPI keys can be allowed or stopped from reading saved passwords at any time, and each key shows how often and when it last read one. Owners and admins see each account's password history: who revealed or copied it, when, and through what.
  - NewA run's page compares it with the last runs of the same name: emails that got much slower, a different number of emails, tests failing for the first time or now and then, and a new sender or link site.
  - NewPhone width in the inbox shows an email at 375 px, as a phone's email app would.
  - ImprovedEach project's pages are tabs under the header: Accounts, Runs, Reports, Activity and Settings.
  - ImprovedA link from an email gets Open link and a copy button, and the Accounts row names its kind (verify, sign-in, invite or reset link).
  - ImprovedIn the inbox, the main code or link shows on its own, other links fold away, and the email preview fits the email.
  - ImprovedAn address waiting a couple of minutes for mail shows a help icon that opens a check of why.
  - ImprovedTablets get the card layout on the Accounts page, and the persona details open smoothly.
### [API](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/api)

  - NewEmail checks: `GET /v1/addresses/{address}/checks` checks an email's SPF, DKIM and DMARC, links to localhost or plain http, where its link goes, a stated expiry, a plain-text part, size and image-only emails. Verdicts only, never the email's content.
  - NewRuns: start one with `POST /v1/runs` and send its id in the `Proxy-Mail-QA-Run` header; each call adds what it saw. `GET /v1/runs/{id}?format=markdown` is the report for a pull request.
  - NewWaits take `unused=true` to skip a code or link already used.
  - NewAn account pool for parallel tests: `POST /v1/addresses/checkout` holds an account matching your filters (tags for its state, country, age, saved password) that no other test has, until you return it or its time runs out. Returning can record its new state.
  - NewValues for a sign-up form: `POST /v1/form-values` takes what the page says about each field and answers with what to type or pick in each, from a new address made for the form: a username and password that fit the field's rules, the date of birth in its format, and a country its drop-down offers. You still fill in the form.
  - ImprovedEmail checks take `expect_text`, phrases the subject or body should contain, and `expect_language`, the language it should be in. They also warn when an email may not fit a phone: parts too wide, images without alt text, or tiny text. Verdicts only, never the email's words.
  - NewRuns say which test each email came from (the `Proxy-Mail-QA-Test` header) and take test results (`POST /v1/runs/{id}/tests`). `GET /v1/runs/{id}` compares the run with the last runs of the same name.
### [MCP server](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/mcp)

  - NewAgents can check emails (`check_email`), count them (`count_emails`) and check that none arrive (`expect_no_email`): verdicts, never the email.
  - NewAgents can record a session as a run (`start_run`, `finish_run`) and get its report in Markdown, and borrow a test account in a known state from the pool (`check_out_account`, `return_account`).
  - NewPrompts for testing sign-up, password reset and code sign-in, and for auditing an app's account emails, each ending in a report.
  - New`form_values` gives an agent the value for each field of a sign-up form, and the `prepare_account` prompt gets a test account ready: it confirms the account's state in the app, makes one when none is free, and puts it back afterwards.
  - NewThe `auth_regression_pack` prompt checks sign-up, password reset and invitations the same way every time, including reused and replaced links, and its report says what changed since the last run. It's also an agent skill.
  - Improved`check_email` takes `expect_text` and `expect_language`, and the server tells agents plainly that Proxy Mail QA supplies the inbox and sign-up details while the agent signs up in the app.
### [npm package](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/npm)

  - New`checkEmail` (0.4.0), runs with `startRun`, `finishRun` and `runReport` (0.5.0, picking up `PROXYMAIL_QA_RUN` on its own), and `unused` for waits (0.5.1).
  - New`checkOutAccount`, `returnAccount` and `withAccount` for the account pool (0.6.0).
  - New`withAccount` takes `create`, `check` and `reset` hooks: a test gets an account confirmed to be in the state it needs, a new one when none is free, and it's put back afterwards. Plus `formValues`, and `expectText` and `expectLanguage` on `checkEmail` (0.7.0).
  - New`proxymail-qa/playwright` gives each test a `qa` client that names its test, and `proxymail-qa/playwright/reporter` adds failed tests and the totals to the run, naming the step or browser action a failed test stopped at (0.8.0 and 0.8.1). The Python helper has the same for pytest.
### [Marketplaces](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/marketplaces)

  - NewThe [Proxy Mail QA GitHub Action](https://github.com/aaquib90/proxymail-qa-action) starts a run for a CI job and posts its report on the pull request and in the job summary.
  - ImprovedThe Claude, Cursor and Qoder plugin (1.3.0) adds the new tools and prompts, and its skill covers checking emails, borrowing accounts and leaving a report.

4. 15 October 2026
## [The Team plan, new MCP tools and the npm package](https://proxymail.qa/changelog#2026-10-15)
Anyone can start a team, agents can manage passwords and check delivery, and proxymail-qa is on npm.

  - proxymail-qa 0.3.0
  - Claude and Cursor plugin 1.2.0
  - Proxy Mail QA for Chrome 0.6.1
### [App](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/app)

  - NewThe Team plan is open to everyone: an organisation with unlimited seats, access per project, invites and a shared activity log, for $5 a month, $45 a year or $95 once for Lifetime.
  - NewTest personas can have a country, picked when you create addresses and shown with the persona.
  - NewLinks that open a mobile app (`myapp://`, or Expo's `exp://`) are picked out of emails, ready to copy.
  - ImprovedCustom address names can use every character the email standard allows, such as `o'brien` or `r&d.team`, up to 64 long.
  - ImprovedLinks to `10.0.2.2` are flagged as opening only in the Android emulator.
  - NewA [status page](https://proxymailqa.statuspage.io) for receiving email, the API and MCP server, the web app and the Chrome extension, updated automatically.
### [API](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/api)

  - New`GET /v1/addresses/{address}/variants` lists unusual versions of an address for testing sign-up forms (capitals, plus tags with special characters, the longest name allowed), and every endpoint accepts them. See [unusual email addresses](https://proxymail.qa/docs/unusual-addresses).
  - NewFind test accounts you made earlier: `GET /v1/addresses` filters by tag, country, age, saved password or text.
  - New`/count` counts the emails that reached an address, and `/none` checks that none arrive, for testing emails that shouldn't be sent.
  - New`include=html` on the messages endpoint returns each email's HTML, cleaned, for template tests.
  - ImprovedSafer agent sign-in. A sign-in token used twice ends that sign-in, as a copy must be in use, and apps on your computer can sign in on any local port.
### [MCP server](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/mcp)

  - New`set_password` saves the password a test account uses after the app changed or reset it, and `update_address` changes its name and username.
  - New`check_delivery` says what reached an address and what we refused, and `get_address_variants` lists unusual versions of it. Every tool accepts a variant.
  - New`create_address` takes an age or date of birth and a country, `list_addresses` finds earlier test accounts by tag, country, age, saved password or text, and `wait_for_link` can ask for the link that opens a mobile app.
### [npm package](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/npm)

  - New[proxymail-qa](https://proxymail.qa/docs/node) is on npm: a typed Node.js client with `createAddress`, `waitForCode`, `waitForLink`, `countEmails`, `expectNoEmail` and filters for `listAddresses`, published with provenance.
### [Chrome extension](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/extension)

  - ImprovedProxy Mail QA for Chrome fills dates of birth, and browser translators leave its test data alone.
### [Marketplaces](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/marketplaces)

  - ImprovedThe Claude and Cursor plugin has the new MCP tools and a skill for reusing test accounts.
### [Docs](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/docs)

  - NewNew [developer docs](https://proxymail.qa/docs) with search and a [REST API reference](https://proxymail.qa/docs/reference), and guides for [Playwright](https://proxymail.qa/docs/playwright), [Cypress](https://proxymail.qa/docs/cypress), [Puppeteer](https://proxymail.qa/docs/puppeteer), [Python](https://proxymail.qa/docs/python), [running in CI](https://proxymail.qa/docs/ci) and [mobile apps](https://proxymail.qa/docs/mobile).
5. 14 October 2026
## [Proxy Mail QA for Chrome, and dates of birth](https://proxymail.qa/changelog#2026-10-14)
The Chrome extension is in the Chrome Web Store, test personas can have a date of birth, and codes and links are read in seven more languages.
### [App](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/app)

  - NewTest personas can have a date of birth, chosen by age: adult, 21+, under 18, under 15, under 13, turning 18 tomorrow or today.
  - NewCodes and links are read from emails in Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch and Chinese, including how long they last.
  - ImprovedBrowser translators leave test data alone (addresses, codes, personas and passwords), so what you copy matches what was saved.
  - NewThe app shows Add to Chrome when the extension isn't installed.
### [Chrome extension](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/extension)

  - New[Proxy Mail QA for Chrome](https://proxymail.qa/chrome-extension) is in the Chrome Web Store. On sites you turn it on for, it fills sign-up forms with a test address, name, username and password, asks to save the password after you submit, and shows the code or link in the page.
  - NewOn sign-in forms it offers the project's saved test accounts and fills in the email and password.
6. 13 October 2026
## [See why an email didn't arrive](https://proxymail.qa/changelog#2026-10-13)
When a test email doesn't come, the app, the API and agents now say what we know about it.
### [App](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/app)

  - NewTroubleshoot, in the account menu, checks an address. It shows what reached us, anything we refused and why, and the usual causes when nothing came. Rows say Refused or Not arriving? when something's wrong. See [troubleshooting](https://proxymail.qa/troubleshooting).
  - NewEach project has its own address in the app, to share or bookmark. Links keep working after the project is renamed.
  - NewConnect your AI agent, in the account menu, gives you the setup prompt to paste into Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot.
### [API](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/api)

  - New`GET /v1/addresses/{address}/delivery` checks an address without waiting, and a wait that finds nothing now says why: mail we refused, or that nothing has reached the address yet.
### [MCP server](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/mcp)

  - ImprovedEvery tool says whether it only reads, changes or deletes, so clients can ask you before the ones that change things.
### [Docs](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/docs)

  - New[Use cases](https://proxymail.qa/use-cases): ten scenarios that need many test accounts, such as age gates, regions and roles.
7. 12 October 2026
## [A REST API and an MCP server for tests and AI agents](https://proxymail.qa/changelog#2026-10-12)
Test scripts and coding agents can create addresses and wait for codes and links, on the Free plan.

  - MCP Registry entry 1.0.0
### [App](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/app)

  - NewA second receiving domain, enable.li, for sign-up forms that block mailclub.dev. Pick it for an address, or make it a project's default.
  - ImprovedFree addresses last up to 30 days (was 7), chosen as 1, 7, 15 or 30 days, and the app warns a day before addresses expire.
  - NewQA reports for a project and date range, as CSV or PDF. They flag test accounts that share a saved password, without showing it.
  - NewAn activity log for owners and admins, Debug mode to keep each email's original .eml file, and Download my data in Account settings.
  - ImprovedAccessibility to WCAG 2.1 AA, checked in light and dark mode, by keyboard and on small screens.
### [API](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/api)

  - NewThe REST API at `api.proxymail.qa/v1` creates, lists, updates and deletes addresses, and waits up to 30 seconds for a code or link. Create keys in Project settings → API keys. See the [REST API docs](https://proxymail.qa/docs/rest-api).
### [MCP server](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/mcp)

  - NewThe MCP server at `api.proxymail.qa/mcp` gives coding agents their own test inboxes. Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and other clients sign in through the browser and choose a project, so no key is needed. See [MCP server](https://proxymail.qa/docs/mcp).
  - New`get_project` tells an agent the project's mail domains and limits, and `create_address` can make a password with the address and save it.
### [Marketplaces](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/marketplaces)

  - NewProxy Mail QA is in the official MCP Registry as `qa.proxymail/proxymail-qa`.
### [Docs](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/docs)

  - NewAn [agent setup](https://proxymail.qa/docs/api#agent-setup) to paste into Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or another agent, and [comparisons](https://proxymail.qa/compare) with other test inbox services.
8. 11 October 2026
## [Proxy Mail QA opens](https://proxymail.qa/changelog#2026-10-11)
Private, disposable inboxes for testing sign-ups, codes and magic links, in a web app at app.proxymail.qa.
### [App](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/app)

  - NewCreate test addresses on mailclub.dev in one click, each with a generated persona (name and username), notes, tags and a saved test password, grouped into projects.
  - NewEach email's code or link is picked out, ready to copy or click, with a countdown when the email says when it expires. The full email opens in a sandboxed inbox with remote images blocked.
  - NewCreate up to 50 addresses at once, each with its own persona, and copy or delete several at once.
  - NewLinks that lead to localhost, a private address or a `.local` or `.test` host are flagged, even after a redirect. Mark a host as your dev environment and it isn't flagged again in that project.
  - NewProjects can add a prefix to every new address, and an archived project can be restored for 15 days.
  - NewSign in with email and password, or Continue with Google. Light, dark or system theme.
### [Docs](https://proxymail.qa/changelog/docs)

  - NewGuides to [what we solve](https://proxymail.qa/solve) (verification emails, OTP codes, magic links, password resets, shared inboxes, localhost links) and to testing apps [built with AI tools](https://proxymail.qa/built-with).
