## Where MailSlurp is the better choice

- **Your tests create inboxes in code,** send mail, or need SMS or your own domain today.
- **You want one service for email and phone testing** in an automated suite.

## Where Proxy Mail QA is the better choice

- **People, not scripts, are testing.** Addresses, codes and links are in a web app built around the Accounts view, so testers don’t write code to read a verification email.
- **Test accounts you can come back to.** A persona, the password you signed up with, notes and tags live with each address for up to 30 days.
- **Generous for individuals.** Up to 50 new addresses a day and around 500 incoming emails a day on the Free plan.
- **Client-ready records.** Export a project’s test accounts and every email’s code or link as CSV or PDF.

## Questions

### Is MailSlurp free?

It has a free plan: its pricing page lists 100 inbox creations and 500 received emails a month for one user. Paid plans start at $19.99 a month. Proxy Mail QA's Free plan allows up to 50 new addresses a day and around 500 incoming emails a day under fair use.

### Can Proxy Mail QA send email?

No. Test inboxes are receive-only: they never send, reply to or forward mail. If your tests need to send from a test address, MailSlurp does that.

### Does Proxy Mail QA support custom domains?

Not yet. Addresses are on mailclub.dev or enable.li. Receiving on your own domain is planned for later; MailSlurp offers custom domains from its Pro plan.
