Labs has new features you can try before they’re available to everyone. Switch them on in the app under Account settings → Labs, or from the help menu (? → Labs). Each switch is yours alone: teammates switch on their own.

Feature What it adds
Marketing and offer emails The Offers and Marketing areas on the Accounts page, in the inbox and in Project settings. The tools record_coupon_result, check_offers, mark_unsubscribed, mark_resubscribed, check_unsubscribe, record_consent and check_sequence, with their REST routes and their Node.js and Python methods, and the MCP prompts that use them. In check_email, the coupon and marketing checks: coupon_expiry, coupon_result, offer_reuse, list_unsubscribe, one_click_unsubscribe, unsubscribe_link, preheader, after_unsubscribe and the marketing rules by country. The Chrome extension’s Offers and Marketing modes and its “I unsubscribed” button
Spam score and attachment checks spam_risk, a spam score out of 10 from the markers spam filters weigh, and harmful_attachment, for attachments inboxes block or distrust: in check_email, run reports, Reports and the inbox

Coupons themselves aren’t in Labs: wait_for_code with kind: coupon finds a coupon, its discount and its end date for everyone.

  • The app, as soon as you switch.
  • API keys and agents. A key acts as the person who made it, so it follows their switches: switch a feature on before an agent or a test suite uses it. A teammate’s key follows the teammate’s switches. An agent isn’t shown a feature’s tools while it’s off, and sees them on its next connection once it’s on, or once the feature is available to everyone.
  • The Chrome extension, the next time you open its popup.
  • Run reports keep what check_email answered when the run checked each email. On a run’s page in the app, warnings and the spam estimate from features you have off are left out; failures always show, since they’re why the run failed.
  • Its results are still worked out for every email, so switching it on shows them for mail that already arrived.
  • Its checks are left out of check_email, run reports and Reports (the Dashboard and the QA report), so they can’t fail a test.
  • Its tools answer with an error that says what to do. Over REST it’s 403 forbidden:
{
"error": "forbidden",
"message": "Marketing and offer emails is in Labs. Switch it on in Account settings → Labs (https://app.proxymail.qa/settings/account#labs); it applies to your API keys and agents too."
}

It’s on for everyone, its switch goes, and Labs lists it as available to everyone. The changelog says when.
